Connected Caregiver

How do you help a caregiving app startup leave a strong first impression on the market?

In 2021, the remote healthcare parent company, Verustat, decided to create a new venture in the space. The project is family a caregiving app called Connected Caregiver, and with so much competition in the space, they needed to stand out as a modern, convenient solution for their audience.

"Caregiving C" icon + logo variants

The intended audience for Connected Caregiver are older adults (late 40s - 50s) who need a convenient way to monitor their parents' (late 70s and higher) health.

With this in mind, I designed the "Caregiving C" to abstractly represent a care-giver wrapping their arms around a loved one. The icon also contains two "C" glyphs – one in positive space and the other in negative.

App features summary designed for App Store

The app can help monitor vitals, offer reminders about prescriptions, and more.

It was necessary that the dozens of useful features of the app were clearly communicated to audiences.

Connected Caregiver offers many "smart" tools that sync with the app in order to help the caregiver monitor their loved one.

The Prompter Pillbox is one of these tools that helps keep tabs on prescription pill intake. The above ads were created to promote this product launch. The beneath photo is the template used for the box design. I decided to go a minimalist, "Apple-like" route.
